New Film: TSA in LEGO

Hella topical, yo.

This is my first film released in 720p and animated with Dragon Stop Motion. Wonderful program! Just great.

Now to binge on leftovers. Hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving.

Don't Spend It All In One Place

I received a prepaid American Express gift card in the mail today. The attached paper read:

"Enjoy this American Express Gift Card at over a million vendors in the U.S. where American Express Cards are accepted. Whether you are up for a great meal, an afternoon of pampering, an indulgent purchase or a little entertainment, use it to create your own memorable experience."

The card is valued at $1.50.

World, you are now my oyster.

The Obligatory Blog Post Where I Badger You For Monies

You know what's an even better way to christen a new blog than with a video featuring a joke about nuts? Bothering you nice people for money.

It's about time Spastik Chuwawa Inc. gets some much needed upgrades.

The first order of business: a new microphone. I've been using the same microphone for roughly five years (so long, infact, that I've even forgotten the name of the model!) I'm going to purchase one of these fiiiiine beauties very soon:

The Blue Snowball Microphone

Smexy.

One of my long term goals for 2011 is to get a new camera, morso for my live action work than animation. I've seriously been considering the Canon Rebel T2i:

The video features are virtually identical to the 7D's, and it's half the price. Check out this purty footage shot with it:

Salton Sea Beach from Philip Bloom on Vimeo.

Imagine how good my films about bed-sheet ghosts will look!

If you just happen to be really generous and/or loose with your money; a suburbanite yuppie with well-off parents, or Bono, well, you're in luck, buddy. Because you can donate some money so I can buy these nice things!

Obliged.

Once More, With Feeling

So, I'm going to give this whole blog business another shot.

And what better way to kick things off than with some Dee's Nuts?

Welcome aboard, people.
